Sarah Hummel, LMT
I am passionate about guiding women on their journey toward self-awareness and clarity through somatic bodywork, breathwork, and sound healing. These powerful creative tools provide a supportive space to reconnect with your body, deepen your relationship with yourself, and foster a clearer communication between your mind & body. I personally have experienced the profound impact of this work, witnessing massive shifts in my own life—improvements in my physical and mental health, and a renewed sense of purpose.
For many years, I struggled with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, insomnia, disconnect from my body, and a persistent dissatisfaction with the way I was living my life. I believe in the transformative potential of this Somatic work, and I would love to support you in your journey to feel more aligned, grounded, and free.
My work is women-centered and offers a safe space for LGBTQIA+ folks and Women of Color. No previous experience is necessary—only a willingness to explore and begin. Each session starts with a simple but powerful question: what, where, how? – inviting your body to lead. By tuning into your own innate wisdom, we can uncover what lies beneath symptoms and facilitate genuine, tangible shifts in both body and mind.
In my career as a Licensed Massage Therapist, yoga teacher (Vinyasa, Yin, Kundalini), Sound Healer, Sauna Master and Breathworker I’ve been curating healing experiences for curious clients since 2012. My practice is informed by an ongoing inquiry into what supports true well-being, and I am grateful to have founded FORMATION Sauna + Wellness, Philadelphia’s first sauna wellness space. Today, I am honored to hold space in a thoughtfully personalized and intimate way—supporting each individual’s unique journey.
I bring my life experiences as a business owner, mother, and friend into my work, recognizing that we are whole beings interconnected in complex, beautiful ways. Our relationships, our inner worlds, and our outer lives all play a vital role in our overall well-being. Above all, my role as a seeker continues to humbly inspire and deepen my work—making every moment of guiding others a profoundly rewarding and meaningful experience.
